Prescriptions are dispensed with the supplies needed to administer the medication (sharps, band-aids, alcohol pads) free of charge. Prescriptions are dispensed with patient education materials, including prescription information sheets, training videos, and information on side effects and other precautions. All prescription & health information is kept strictly confidential. Damer & Cartwright carries a full line of prescription medications and medical supplies for “one-call” service. Bilingual employees (English & Spanish). We will do whatever is necessary to make sure patients will have their specific needs met. Follow Up Services Every patient is followed by a Hepatology Specialist Our Hepatology Specialist will call the patient the week they begin therapy to answer any questions about side effects, self-injecting, how the medication works or ANY OTHER QUESTIONS they may have about Hepatitis C After the initial call, the patient and our Hepatology Specialist will set up a schedule for future follow up calls. Every patient can call their Hepatology Specialist at anytime to discuss anything pertaining to their treatment.  Insurance and Reimbursement Services Our insurance specialists are available during business hours for questions about your coverage or insurance concerns. Damer & Cartwright accepts most prescription drug card plans and will enroll in any new plan to help service our patients. Damer & Cartwright Pharmacy accepts Medicaid in most states.   Damer & Cartwright bills MEDICARE directly for any Medicare covered medications. Damer & Cartwright accepts most major medical insurance plans and bills insurance company directly. Therefore, patients fill out NO reimbursement claim forms. Damer & Cartwright accepts payment directly from insurance companies. Therefore, patients do not pay for prescriptions up front. Patients pay only their copay amount! If patient has no insurance, Damer & Cartwright Pharmacy will help enroll the patient in any available assistance program.
